There is a lot of factors in maintaining a car. From rotating a tire to changing the oil, there are many elements in maintaining a car. Dyno tuning is another element of this.
What is Dyno Tuning?
A dyno tuning is a systematic approach to engine tuning that allows a trained auto technician to diagnose potential engine issues, extracting every bit of an engine’s potential. It helps to optimize the engine and diagnose minor problems. The process is done by tweaking a few different elements. These elements are:
- Replacing spark plugs
- Ignition timing
- RPM Limits
- Fuel ratio
How does it work?
Dyno tuning helps you to diagnose and fix issues that might lead you to a bad driving experience. You should do it if you are experiencing poor gas mileage, surging, weak power, engine pinging, or trouble starting the car. The process of dyno tuning is very simple. We at “Wheel Identity” do our dyno tuning following these simple methods.
- We interview the vehicle owner to understand the already known issues with the vehicle.
- We Assess the engine compression and do a complete visual inspection.
- We also judge the heat range for spark plugs which should be must be appropriate.
- We remove the car’s distributor and check it for faults.
- Finally, we put the vehicle into the dynamometer, such that your wheels are in contact with the dyno rollers.
As you can see, there are some steps into doing dyno tuning. It takes about 6 hours for the whole process. However, you still should get back your car within one day. We will diagnose and fix all the problems in your car.
Our dyno tuning will give your car better health, more life, and better performance. It should be noted that dyno tuning should always be conducted with an experienced auto technician or facility. We at Wheel Identity are very experienced and will take good care of your car. To get your car checked by us, contact us.
